Holy Communion: We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on Sunday, November 10.

Food Pantry: We will be collecting canned goods for the local food pantry on Sunday, November 10.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Drive:  This year you will have the opportunity to give items each month for the shoeboxes. Here’s the complete list. You can place the items in the box in the sanctuary foyer or in the fellowship hall entrance. Thanks for your participation in this way to spread the Gospel throughout the world!  Jan.: Youth toothbrushes and covers/cases; Feb.: Bar soap (Ivory), washcloths, deodorant, chapstick; March: Mini-flashlights & extra batteries; April: Small stuffed animals, combs, small hairbrushes; May: Sewing kits (older girls), fishing kits (older boys), small tool kit (boys); June: Notepads, journals, sunglasses (All ages); July: Coloring books & toys (yoyo’s, balls, jump ropes, dolls); August: T-shirts (Ages 2-14) boys & girls; Sept.: School Supplies: (rulers, solar calculators, glue sticks, erasers, pencils, pens, colored pencils, colored markers, crayons, highlighter markers); Oct.:  solar calculators and small rubber balls,  Nov.: Monetary donations; Dec.: Pray for the children receiving the boxes.

Kenya Mission Trip: The planning for the Kenya Mission Trip in 2020 is beginning!  If you are interested in finding out more about the trip or about how to support the mission, please contact Kathy Kenne.

Diaconate Meeting: The Diaconate will meet on Tuesday, November 5 at 6:00 pm.

Session Meeting:  The Session will meet on Monday, November 11 at 5:30 pm.

Community Christian Children’s Choir: The Community Christian Children’s Choir sponsored by our church meets on  Wednesdays at 3:30 pm. Donations for Bibles & refreshments are welcome.  See Carol Hazard, Darcelle Hines or Susie Marshall.  Thank you.

Book Club: The next meeting is on Monday, Nov.  25th at 5:30 pm.  The book is Raquela, a Woman of Israel by Ruth Gruber.  Terri Dukeminier will be the hostess.  The list is posted by the library door.  Anyone is welcome to come and discuss the book of the month.
